Bloomberg VX

Challenge:

Create a digital home to promote and explain Bloomberg’s Visitor Experience, which uses VR, augmented reality, audio, video and touchscreen interfaces to tell the Bloomberg story in a contemporary, cutting-edge way.

Solution:

Landing pages featuring custom icons and simple .JSON animations—which I created in After Effects and exported using the BodyMovin’ plug-in. These light-weight vector animations render in code across devices, ensuring pixel-perfect crispness regardless of scale.

The following examples are from the marketing pages created with the collaboration of members of the Bloomberg Marketing Studio UX/UI Team, copywriters, and Bloomberg Engineering:

Bloomberg <Vision>

Bloomberg Vision is a web app that offers a deeper, data-rich perspective on the world around you, allowing you to scan real-world products and get Bloomberg real-time data and news about the companies that produce them. You can also scan legal tender to see currency cross rates.

Bloomberg <VR>

Bloomberg plays a vital role in global finance, delivering the news and data that markets depend on through our network at lightning speed. Visitors to select offices can now step inside that network using virtual reality – and learn about the power of Bloomberg in a fully immersive experience.
